The Military Commanders’ Scholarship provides financial assistance for college to children of active and retired military personnel.
Requirements
- This program is open to children of Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard, and retired members of the U.S. military.
- Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll full time as entering freshmen at an accredited 2 or 4-year college or university.
- They must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Selection is based on academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, a statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances, an outside appraisal, and financial need.
